Established in 2022, Fieldstone Equine Clinic is Dedicated to the Well-Being of the Horse.
We are driven to provide exemplary and comprehensive veterinary care and outstanding client education. While our primary focus is the care and treatment of equids, Fieldstone Equine Clinic is equipped and readily able to provide care to other large animal species as well.

Samuel E. Scheu, DVM
Dr. Scheu is a native of Woodstock, VT and grew up riding and competing in eventing. He is a 2019 graduate of the Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Scheu spent two years in mixed large animal practice after graduation, then completed a year-long advanced training program in equine medicine and surgery at the Vermont Large Animal Clinic - Equine Hospital. Outside of veterinary medicine Dr. Scheu enjoys spending time with family, riding his horses, driving his tractor and telemark skiing.
Taylor Faccio
Growing up in Strafford, VT and Eventing throughout Area 1 most of her life, Taylor is no stranger to this area. She has been a lifelong horsewoman who enjoys riding, training, teaching and caring for horses. Taylor juggles the "behind the scenes" work for Fieldstone Equine Clinic and you may see her out on the road assisting Dr. Scheu. Outside of her farm and 4-leggeds, Taylor loves spending time skiing and enjoying live music.
